Hello Fairytale Seekers!
My name is Zoe but my Aunties also call me Cinderella because they know that the story of my life will read like a fairytale. It starts off very sad but now that I?m a FurKid, it?s guaranteed to have a happy ending.
Once upon a time my tummy was full of puppies and I was preparing to be a mommy. I didn?t have a home, though, so I wasn?t getting enough nourishment to keep my puppies and me strong and healthy. I eventually ended up in this place called a shelter where they tried to help me-- but it was too late for my puppies. I was sad and scared and all alone. Now that?s the end of the sad part, so please keep reading. Remember, this is a fairytale so it gets better.
Now that I?m a FurKid my life is great. I have a foster mommy and daddy and two four-legged foster siblings who love me and promise me that I will never be alone again. I believe them because they know that I am just a tiny little girl of only 8 pounds with so much love to give. They understand that losing my puppies left a huge void in my heart that they are helping me to fill. While I?m still a little shy I do love to play with my bichon siblings and will warm up to new people once I?ve been introduced to them properly.
Each day is a new chapter in my fairytale. There is a whole chapter about my successful visit to the dog park and another all about how much I enjoy riding in the car. My favorite chapter so far is the one about my fuzzy bone. You see, this stuffed toy was given to me when I was rescued; It was the very first thing that made me smile, and it is mine to care for and protect! I take extremely good care of it, bringing it everywhere with me because I love it so much. Sometimes I like to wrap it up like a baby in the blankets and pillows on mom and dad?s bed (where I sleep, by the way). Whoever adopts me needs to understand that my bone and I cannot be separated.
I?m getting stronger and more confident each day and am currently working on a chapter called, ?The Doggy Door.? I am perfectly potty trained but still just not quite big and strong enough to get outside on my own. I am eating all of my food like a good girl so that I can get big and strong and so that I can finish this chapter and move one to the one called ?My Furever Home.?
My foster parents say that I am playful, clever, animated and am just as sweet as can be. I can learn to like people of all sizes and haven?t met a lap I could resist. I have so much love to give and am looking for a forever home where my fuzzy bone and I can live happily ever after. If you would like to help me write my fairytale ending, please ask to meet me.
