Original Edition "Farmhouse Pine" Ethan Allen Armchair, with Rush Seat. Rare. For Dining, or as a generous and comfortable pull-up Occasional Chair. (How the owner/ interior designer has often utilized it). This original USA made Ethan Allen style, altered later as EA started making furniture offshore, is highly prized for it's quality and rarity. It is comfortable, too, which is unusual for most ladder backs. Generously sized seat is:17" deep, 21" wide at Front tapering to 18" w at back of seat. What's also wonderful about the classic style of this chair, is that it is "cleanly" styled, without the fuss of turned finials or stretchers, so it is right at home in a more contemporary, eclectic setting. I've used this chair as my desk chair, living room accent chair, family room chair, and extra chair for holiday dining. It goes everywhere and with everything.
